Richard Johnson is not only a member of FS elite running team, he is a Road Racer Club of America (RRCA) and United States Track and Field (USATF) certified coach and world renowned jazz musician who works extensively with jazz icons such as Russell Malone, Wynton Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval, Vanessa Rubin, Bobby Watson and Herbie Hancock. Since 2003, running "the distance" has become second nature to Richard. He has completed 7 marathons, participated in "Step Across America" which is a run across America while inspiring physical fitness and activities in U.S. After running across America, Richard decided to try his luck at running around the world. In early 2007, he was selected to participate in the Blue Planet Run which is a relay run consisting of 20 runners from different backgrounds and nationalities. Together, the runners will run 15,200 miles, across 16 countries and 4 continents, 24 hours a day for 95 days.
